What is the processing cost for accepting credit cards for rental payments?

The cost of processing credit cards for rental payments will vary depending on the processor and payment gateway you choose. Can I add a fee when my tenants pay with credit cards?

Merchants may request a convenience fee for credit card transactions; however, each card brand has its standards. Not all merchants can charge them, even if they meet the criteria, as some states don't permit convenience fees.

Can I save the tenants’ credit card information on file?

Yes. All payments are securely stored on our servers that comply with PCI, NACHA, and SOC-II standards. This includes user credentials such as logins, passwords, and secret questions/answers.
