This month, Garaventa Enterprises, a waste management company that services ten cities across northeastern California, has implemented a new payment system that will significantly transform the way their customers pay sanitation bills. In addition to online web payments, Garaventa Enterprises can now accept payments through an automated phone system.

Garaventa Enterprises currently works in Concord, Rio Vista, Oakley, Contra Costa, Mt. Diablo, Pittsburg, Brentwood, Discovery Bay and other cities for both residential and commercial waste management. This new IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system has made it easier for their customers to make payments (in English and Spanish) and increase the efficiency with which Garaventa can process their incoming payments by telephone. Seeing the need for a telephone based system, Garaventa choose the E-Complish IVR system due to the customizable features and secure handling of payments processed. It is expected that this new source of payment will allow customer service representatives at the company to handle more sensitive customer service issues and decrease call hold times. Additionally, the handling of payments via an IVR securely processes payments without the customer service representative being involved. This is good for Garaventa Enterprises and its customers.
